What we store

Your verified email, login sessions, job and client details you enter, room checklists, photo metadata, uploaded photos, and purchase verification records. Photos and drafts are also stored privately on your device. Camera access is used only when you choose to take a photo. Imported pictures are selected through Android's picker. We do not request access to your entire photo library, contacts, or location.

Why and where

We use this information to sign you in, synchronize your work, produce reports, provide support, and verify purchases. AWS hosts the API and PostgreSQL database. Cloudflare R2 stores uploaded photos privately. Resend processes your email address and verification messages. Google Play processes purchases; we never receive your card details. These providers may process data outside your country.

Control and retention

You choose when to synchronize photos. Reports shared through other apps are delivered to the recipients you choose; you control those copies. You can export job reports and a workspace backup, delete individual jobs, or delete your account from Settings or the account-deletion page. Account deletion immediately removes active account records and queues uploaded files for deletion, normally within 24 hours after storage service recovery. Encrypted database backups expire within 14 days. Photos embedded in previously shared PDFs remain with their recipients. Authentication codes expire after 10 minutes; sessions expire after 30 days.

Security and choices

Network traffic uses HTTPS. Photos are private, access is checked against the signed-in account, and login secrets are hashed or encrypted. No advertising SDKs or tracking analytics are included. We do not sell your data or use your photos to train AI. Do not include sensitive personal details in job notes unless you have permission. Contact support to request access, correction, or assistance deleting your data.

Children

CleanFinish is a professional work tool intended for adults. It is not directed at children.
